Introductory Bike Trips

These green trips include bike paths and gravel roads with generally uniform surfaces. None require technical bike handling or singletrack riding skills.  They are designed to maximize the fun and the scenery.  On both the Hiawatha and the Mickelson Trails, we are primarily on paved or crushed gravel bike trails converted from historics railroad routes.  On the Grand Staircase, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone trips we visit these National Monuments and Parks via dirt roads, camping in places away from the crowds, and while some uphill climbing is involved the views from the top are always worth it! On the South Rim of the Grand Canyon the riding includes several opportunities to check out some introductory singletrack, but the majority of the trip includes rolling double track.
