POSITION : FULL TIME GUIDE
LOCATION : THROUGHOUT THE WEST
DURATION : APRIL THROUGH OCTOBER – THREE TRIPS PER MONTH (ABOUT 17 OR 18 DAYS PER MONTH)

Do you have a passion for the outdoors? Do you want to share that passion with others? This may be the job for you!

You do not have to be an expert rider, but mountain biking experience is a must. Positivity, leadership, compassion, and sense of humor are the qualities we are looking for in our guides. Customer service is key!

We go to great lengths to make sure our guests have an amazing time while enjoying nature and riding bikes. Our trips range from easy family rides where the emphasis is having fun outside, to more technical singletrack trips that attract seasoned riders. Western Spirit welcomes riders of all ages and experience levels. Guides need to be upbeat, respectful, and very well organized.

Since our entire season is on the road, and you may only get home once or twice in a six-month period, it isn’t possible to have a dog or even a house plant! While we are happy to arrange your schedule so you can make it to your brother’s wedding or other special events. You will need to be available full time from April-October. Are you ready to spend some quality time visiting our amazing public lands?

Requirements:

  • Current Wilderness First Responder certification (can be obtained after being hired)
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Provide a current Food Handlers Certificate
  • Must be able to commit to a full season. 2-3 trips a month April/May-October
