About Our Trips
What’s included on our trips
Food is one thing we take pretty seriously. Our guides are great backcountry chefs and your trip includes all meals from lunch on first day to lunch on last day.
Support Vehicle. Our customized trucks and vans carry all of your gear as well as many camper comforts! We have the coolest custom F-450′s in the industry.
Our guides have incredible backcountry experience, but the best part is that they are all super friendly and look forward to a week of riding with you.
Campsites. We camp primarily in pristine locations where it’s quiet, dark and peaceful. The finest morning view comes with a hot cup of cowboy coffee.
All shuttles are included from our meeting place to the start of your ride. At the end of the trip we shuttle back to our meeting place.
Many of our trips take place in national parks and on public land. All of entry fees & permits are included in the trip price.
Not included are: rental fees, gratuities for your guides, alcoholic beverages, and applicable sales tax. If you would like to bring alcoholic beverages we will store them for you at the appropriate temperature. Your total tour costs will include your trip fee, appropriate rental fees and applicable sales tax.
Renting Bikes
For this season we are happy to announce our continued partnership with Specialized. We rent S, M, L and XL 2013 Specialized Camber 29 full suspension bikes, equipped with hydraulic disc brakes and 29in wheels, for $45 per day.
On the road we offer 2013 Specialized Roubaix Apex Compacts. We have a full range of sizes and will need your height to get you properly fitted. For our family trips we also rent a full range of kid sized Specialized bikes, and trail-a-longs. Bike rentals include a helmet however if you have your own we suggest you bring it.
The bikes are equipped with flat pedals. If you ride clipless pedals, we suggest you bring them with you and we will put them on your rental bike. You may also bring your own saddle if you have one you love.

Renting Camping Gear
We rent Sierra Designs and Mountain Hardware two-man tents, 20-degree sleeping bags and Thermarest pads.
A package for one person is $90/tour.
Bringing your own gear
You are welcome to bring your own camping gear and/or bicycle. We highly recommend having your bike tuned up before your tour so you know it is in top running condition. Our guides are fine mechanics, but there aren’t any bike shops in the backcountry!
If you plan to travel with your bike, check with your airline for any additional fees. Most airlines charge at least $75 each way to fly with your bike.
We suggest you ship your bike to us in advance. For a $180 fee we will unpack your bike, build it, and ship it home after your tour. Domestic shipping only.
